Pumpkin patch - Snohomish style

Kids loved it
Mom's took lots of pictures

Dad's did the dad thing.....and.....waited for afternoon beers.

Some inappropriate talks about squash and pumpkins

Attempts at family photos - or for me - the single mom photo (minus one "missing" child).

And wheel barrow rides with uncle Paul

Overall
Good Times!

We woke up this morning and decided to take the girls to the pumpkin patch. It was too beautiful to stay inside. I could hit up a different patch every weekend - and - actually we will be doing just that the next 3 weekends. Yay! I mean who doesn't love a good pumpkin patch??

We came home the girls napped and Mike and I got some yard work done.
Caught up on few episodes of Parenthood.
Ate a big bowl of ice cream.
Sipped a glass of vino.

Ahhhh........Saturday - I heart you.

Rewind 1 year - Lilah wore the same pumpkin sweater and hat. She has found that sweater yet again and wants to wear it everyday. At least she caved on the orange leggings......Pick my battles, right?!?

Its simple - I love her - completely.

They giggled the whole tractor ride. Which in turn had me giggling the whole ride.
I appreciate the moments the two get along. Ahhh......16 you have the potential to be a complete nightmare.

Until next weekend.
Hopefully Snohomish doesn't disappoint.

I had a client cancel today and decided to use that time to take Lilah for her 1st hair cut. She is in Linda's wedding this weekend and I have felt like she needed her hair did before the big event. Our neighbor owns a salon in town and I called to see if she could fit us in for a cut. She could - so I swung in picked up Lilah from daycare and off we went for an afternoon at the salon. Lilah did wonderful! She loved getting her hair washed and sitting in the "turny" chair as she called it. 4 inches off the ends and she looks like a whole new big girl :)

Oh....and G has decided she will not sit in her high chair any longer. So, I pulled out the booster seat and she hangs at the table with us now. She looks like such a peanut.

P.S. - we are done with Binkies in this house!!!! YAY :) I was sick & tired of searching for those darn things in the middle of the night and worrying about packing them everywhere we went. Don't ask me how I did it - I just got mad at Lilah and threw it in the garbage. She watched - and cried - and we went about our day. If you ask her what happened to her Bink she will tell ya, " my mommy got mad and threw it in the garbage." Who said tough love doesn't work.

Just for Jess..... you too Tiff........

I stopped at one of my all time favorite stores today. Yep, its true if you have been to my home you know I have a slight obsession with Bath and Body Works. Soaps, shower gels, candles, plug in's, lip gloss, hand sanitizers - they sell it - I buy it. Perhaps I should be honest with myself - its a full blown obsession. I have back stock of everything in my linen closet. My sister often makes fun of me for the multiple bottles of hand soap I have "just in case."

So today on the way home I stopped to pick up some of the new holiday scents. I have been craving a trip to B and B ever since I got the email that the fall scents had arrived. So - as I sit here tonight my home smells oh so Fallish (not sure if that's even a word), my hands smell the perfect hint of caramel apple and I anticipate a fabulous shower in the a.m.

Seriously - I love that place. Here are a few of my purchases from today.
