Happy 27th Birthday Linda!

Although, we don't always see eye to eye I hope you know how much I love you! I can't imagine not having you as my sister. There are so many things I admire about you. From your carefree attitude to your unique sense of style - you are you and you don't change for anyone! I hope all your wishes come true this year.

All for Ruth Ann

On Saturday we participated in what my mother likes to call "Fall Festival". A trip to the pumpkin patch followed by a yummy fall themed meal. Really its a chance for Ruth Ann to get all her kids and grand babies together for a whole day. Its actually lots of fun and this year the Konings and Koehlers came along. Karli even provided adorable hats for all the kids - handmade by Wade's mom Ruth Ann.
If you ever get a chance to visit Gordon Farms in Mount Vernon you should definitely check it out. They have it decorated so cute with lots of hand painted fall pictures which make for great picture taking. Of course Lilah does not sit still, so getting a picture will have to wait a few years. Makes me wonder if we'll ever get a family photo???

Tynia, Mike and the girls.
If the in laws decided to leave us McEver's they would make a pretty cute family ;-)

Playdates

I have decided the best thing about maternity leave is the play dates. I love having time to get together with girlfriends. Yes, the kids get to play, but in reality its for my own sanity. When I am working weeks can go by without seeing friends. That's why I try and take full advantage of this time!

Georgia, Gavin, and Abe

Looking forward to many more Tuesday afternoons with these ladies.

Kai, Riley, and Lilah. They set up shop in the middle of the Center House - apparently their mothers are too smothering.

Bath Time

We call Lilah The Big Helper these days...... she will find any excuse to touch Georgia. Her favorite excuse is bath time. Sometimes its very annoying and difficult. Other times its just plain cute. This time I found it too cute for words.

A perfect Sunday

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! I love the colors, decorations, foods, weather......well pretty much everything. That said we took our first fall outing to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. We must have walked the entire patch before Lilah finally found the pumpkin she wanted. She was too cute. It was one of those days you smile and think to yourself "I love my family."

2 weeks

I am not sure where the past 2 and a half weeks have gone. Having two kids is busy.......I mean really busy. Every day gets a little easier as we figure out our routine. We've already had lots of play dates and family outings. I am trying to make sure Lilah still gets out to play. She has more energy than I know what to do with. She is not used to being home full time. Thank goodness she goes back to daycare part time next week. This way she gets out a couple days a week and I can run errands, snuggles Georgia, or perhaps just sit for a moment!

Georgia is growing like a weed. She is so much bigger then her sister was at this point. She already fills out her 3 month clothing. She had her newborn pics done this past week and I can't wait to see them!

I also want to thank everyone who has helped me with the kids these past few weeks. Without you all we could not have done it. Our family is blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives. The adjustment of having a baby in the house is always a challenge for me and its been made 100% easier by each and every one of you.
