We had a wonderful and I mean WONDERFUL time in Vegas! A great Birthday weekend. Sun, pool, drinks, laughter, shows, yummy food, and good company. It was super. I think I was ready for a reality vacation. I needed to spend time with Mike as husband and wife - no work - no kids - just us. .....well and Lori and Jeff :)
This vacation put a few things in perspective.
I love my husband. I treasure my time with friends. I have great friendships! The girls will be okay without their parents.....at least for a few days. My body will not sleep past 8:30. EVER.

We couldn't have planned it better..... A couple weeks ago we planned a BBQ at our place. I was kinda worried because the weather has been so crappy. I figured we would all be stuck in the house. So when the sun came out yesterday it made for a nice backyard BBQ. It was great to see everyone and their adorable kiddos. We ate, drank, and laughed a lot!
I feel like is been ages since I updated this blog. Wondering What we have been up to?
Up at the god awful hour of 5:30 AM. No alarm necessary. Lilah stares at my face and tells me to stretch. This is her way of saying "get your butt out of bed mom". Bottle, Breakfast, Handing off kids and out the door Daycare check in Work....work....work Daycare pick up Dinner, Baths, Bottle, Bed Laundry......lots and lots of laundry wine - this is not an option in my opinion. Sleep 5:30 AM, again!
Throw in a little teething, uncontrollable diaper blowouts, potty training, and you about have it - Life at the Gibson's. Always exciting, always chaotic, yet still always counting my blessings!
